On Saturday Port U21 came through a one sided affair against Stradbally Parish Gaels in the Laois U21 semi-final replay. Played in atrocious conditions Port led 0-11 to 0-5 at half time with Jake Foster to the fore with a personal tally of 4 points (3 from play and one from a free). The second half saw Port up the ante with pressure on the Stradbally rear guard leading to defensive errors that Port capitalised on with goals from Evin Clancy, Colm Murphy (pen) and Colin Slevin to leave the final score 3-17 to 1-10.
Port will now meet Graiguecullen in the final to be played next Saturday the 18th of November, throw in time is 19:00 in O’Moore Park.
