Coaches / Mentors Wanted
If you are interested in coaching / mentoring a team for the coming year can you please attend a meeting next Wednesday 7th February at 8pm in the Gaa Centre, this is for anyone that wants to get involved from U21 level right down to Juvenile level.
Coach Training & Development
The Club will be holding the courses listed below in preparation for the coming year all coaches are encouraged to attend.
- Code of Ethics Training on Monday 19th time TBC
- First Aid training course on Tuesday, 20th February, 7pm.
- Defibrillator training on Wednesday, 21st February, 7pm.
Club Registration
Club Registration starts on February 2nd from 7-8 and will be every Friday after at those times up in the Gaa Centre!!
Adult membership €40
Child membership €25
Family membership €60
Family membership covers 2 parents/guardians and all children under 18 years of age.
Hurling Training
Parents who would like their child to try out this great game of ours are more than welcome up in Portarlington Gaa. Training is ongoing every Sunday morning @11am.
Juvenile Football Training
The U8/9s are back in the GAA Centre on Fridays from 6-7pm
Tthe U6/7s are back Sunday mornings from 10-11.15am.
We hope to see all players back and any new players who would like to take football up are more than welcome to attend.

Operation Transformation
Monday night lights is back from 7-8pm up in the main pitch. This is in association with Operation Transformation where you can run/jog or walk in a safe & secure environment. All welcome members & non-members.
Laois GAA Draw 2018
Laois GAA Draw 130 euro tickets available from any committee member. This draw is one of our main sources of funding for our club activities for the coming year.
The first draw starts 2nd March second draw is 6th April third draw is 4th May & the final draw is 1st June. Prizes per month listed in pic.
You can pay the €130 up front or pay €32.50 per month. Huge thanks to all who purchase tickets.
Dinner Dance / Awards
A big thanks you to all who made our recent awards night so successful with a special mention to legendary GAA broadcaster Michael O Muircheartaigh who was on hand to MC the event and help present the minor and U-21 medals.
