A big thanks to all who contributed to our club clean-up on Saturday in preparation for the Ladies NFL League Semi Final last Sunday between Louth and Limerick, and to those who volunteered to steward at the game. Your contributions ensured a very successful day for our club.
U7 / U9 Blitz
A great day of football was enjoyed by all Sunday morning with our first blitz day of the year, a big thank you to our opposition teams on the day, Portlaoise and Clonaslee St. Manmans who contributed to a very sporting occasion.
It was a big day for a lot of the kids, who were playing a match for the first time. A big thanks to the team mentors and parents who looked after the children ensuring an enjoyable and successful blitz.
Hurling Results
Our U11 hurlers had a great win against The Harps Sunday morning running out winners on a scoreline of; Portarlington 6-09 The Harps 2-00
It was an outstanding game with both teams producing some excellent hurling with our lads a lot more clinical in front of goals to run out deserving winners.
Our U13s were away to Clonaslee/St Manmans and also had a brilliant win with a great team performance winning on a scoreline; Portarlington 3-03 Clonaslea/St Manmans 1-06
Well done to both players and team mentors.
