A huge thanks to all our exhibitors, advertisers, those businesses who contributed spot prizes and patrons who supported our 20k Drop fundraising event to make it the successful event it was.
These contributions along with our previous “buy a brick fundraiser” have helped the club raise the necessary funds for our new dressing rooms which will see four new county standard dressing rooms /showers rooms/ referees dressing rooms constructed under the Colm Maher stand in McCann Park to be ready for use in 2019.
Your support is greatly appreciated in helping to bring this project to fruition, by all in Portarlington GAA club, young and old. Our club would encourage all our members and supporters to support those people and businesses who support our club.
Our U5s,7s & 9s had a party last week to end the mark of the playing season.A great evening was had by all with a big turnout enjoying the get together.
A big thanks to the coaches for providing brilliant coaching throughout the year,their commitment and providing a safe & fun environment for all our underage players.
Thanks to all the parents who ferry their kids to training & blitzes during the year.
Last but not least the players,who train very hard, improving all the time and are a joy to coach.
Also we would like to thank all the sponsors who have kindly helped out with our U5s, U7s & U9s throughout the year.
U5, u7 & u9 football training will continue till the end of this year on Friday evenings from 6-7pm and Sunday mornings from 10-11am only.
Going forward your kids will need boots and runners,if the weather is bad, training will be indoors.I
If inclement on a Friday nights u5s & u7s training will be cancelled and the u9s will train indoors only, again if weather is inclement on Sunday mornings the u9s will be cancelled and the u5s & u7s will train indoors.

Taking place on Sunday the 28th of October in the Heritage Hotel, Killenard, this family event is sure to be a great evenings entertainment.
We would love for all our members to attend, this a family event,so kids are very welcome. We invite the public,our sponsors or anyone who would like to sponsor an advertisement for this main event on October 28th to the launch on Wednesday night.
Each ticket gives you the chance of being 1 of 8 persons to be selected at random on the night of October 28th in the Heritage, to win up to €2500.

This is our main fundraiser of the year and with the proceeds going towards our next major development of the dresssing rooms underneath the Colm Maher stand in McCann Park all support is greatly appreciated.

Our U17s (minors) are preparing for their County Final this coming Sunday against Ballyroan Abbey , throw in 1:30pm, in O’Moore Park.
This is a big occasion for the panel & management with the game on before the Senior Final.
We are inviting all juveniles,their parents & club members to McCann Pk on Thursday @7pm to show your support to the lads.
We will be giving out Port flags to those travelling to the match on Sunday and encourage our juveniles to have a kick around with the team before training @7.30pm.
We’re hoping for a big turnout on Sunday,so get your club colours ready for O Moore Pk to cheer the team on.
